As part of the Digitalise Youth project<\/a>, the Youth Democracy Cohort (YDC) is supporting youth led organisations focusing on digital rights across the Sahel<\/strong>, West Africa<\/strong> and Horn of Africa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These grants aim to promote an open digital space allowing youth to advocate for their rights<\/strong>, by engaging with national governments in multi-stakeholder dialogues. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The selected projects focus on advocating for youth rights in the digital sphere<\/strong>, influencing regulation of digital spaces, and protecting digital platforms as a space for human rights advocates. The grants seek to achieve policy reforms or institutional changes<\/strong> at the local or national levels in their respective countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
